The Nan's Plum Puddings Story...

Nan's Plum Puddings was created out of nowhere in 2011 when a local charity asked me to supply them with plum puddings ... I went home and made five puddings using different recipes including one handed down from my grandmother.
I was thrilled when the local charity selected the pudding that was my Nan’s recipe!
From there I got busy searching for large amounts of knowledge, ingredients and friends & family to come and help me make 200 puddings!
After 7 years, of supplying the charity - who now I supply 700kg to each year, I was encouraged to go out to markets. To my surprise and delight it has been a growing success!
I now make tonnes of puddings each year.
Each year I have made improvements in the making, wrapping boiling, hanging and decorations to your pudding but one thing that hasn’t ever changed is the century old recipe from my Nan.
HOW ARE THE PUDDINGS MADE?
The pudding making days are fill with love, laughter, Tim Tams, hot homemade meals (because every “pudding weekend” it will rain hail or snow, sometimes all three!), a sneaky wine and my wonderful friendships with all my Elves.
“It’s the one job you can’t get fired from!” is said very often by my Elves!
Your pudding is truly handmade and homemade. They are all unique in shape, but always have the wonderful taste of Nan’s cooking.
Our pudding have converted many non pudding lovers!... so if you are not sure, we have samples for you to try and be converted too!
People love their Plum Pudding and often ask if there are plums in it... Dried plums, or prunes, were popular in pies in medieval times, but gradually in the sixteenth and seventeenth century they began to be replace by raisins. The dishes made with them, however, retained the term plum, and to this day plum pudding etc reminds us of their former ingredients.
